After an inaugural Los Angeles Dodgers Holiday Festival at Dodger Stadium last year, the immersive event is returning in 2021. Whereas fans were limited to a drive-through experience for the first celebration, the renovated center field plaza will now be the backdrop.
The 2021 Dodgers Holiday Festival will feature an open-air ice skating rink in the outfield and Northern Lights display, among other interactive areas.
The Holiday Festival will be open from 5-10 p.m. PT on weekdays, and 3-10 p.m. on weekends, beginning Friday, November 26, and extending through December 31, 2021 (select dates excluded). Admission tickets start at $16 and went on sale Wednesday at 10 a.m.
Ice skating and photos with Santa Claus will require an additional purchase of an activity-specific ticket prior to the date of attending. The ice rink located in the outfield will run by 30-minute sessions, and one-hour reservations are available for professional photos with Santa.
Guests will have the option to access their pictures digitally, add printed photos or keepsakes.
The Dodgers Holiday Festival will also feature backdrops options such as a giant wrapped presents, snowmen, Santa’s sleigh, and a 40-foot Christmas tree for photo opportunities; chance to meet and interact with Santa’s elves; Northern Lights immersive experience; create and take home a holiday keepsake; bounce houses and more.
Holiday music will be played throughout Dodger Stadium and the event will feature nightly live performances.
Fans can enjoy seasonally-inspired foods, desserts, hot chocolate, cocktails, craft beers and wines, and Shake Shack will be among the Dodger Stadium concessions open. Merchandise outlets will also be open.
In accordance with the City of Los Angeles Municipal Code, all attendees who are eligible for a COVID-19 vaccine will be required to show proof at stadium gates prior to entry of either full vaccination (i.e., at least two weeks have passed since last receiving the second dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine, or single dose of Johnson & Johnson), or a negative COVID-19 viral test (both PCR and antigen tests will be accepted) taken within 72 hours before the start time of the event.
The Dodgers strongly encourage attendees to wear a mask in all areas of the Holiday Festival, unless actively eating or drinking.
Support Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation
In addition to soaking in a festive environment at Dodger Stadium, fans can support the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation (LADF) as they will be operating their Homebase location in center field.
Guests may purchase $10 t-shirts, bobbleheads, autographed memorabilia and more while supplies last. LADF also will collect new or gently-used baseball and softball gloves for use in their Dodgers RBI program.
When purchasing tickets for the Dodgers Holiday Festival, guests may add a donation to support LADF’s mission of improving education and health care, combating homelessness and assuring social justice for local communities.
