The Los Angeles Dodgers announced single-game tickets for April dates at Dodger Stadium go on sale to the general public Friday at 10 a.m. PT. The opportunity to purchase tickets does not include the home opener against the Washington Nationals.
The Dodgers previously opened an online registration for their lottery to purchase a limited number of home Opening Day tickets. Random drawings were conducted this week and winners were notified via email.
In addition to their first home game of the season when the Dodgers are expected to receive their World Series rings and raise a banner to commemorate the title, this month also calls for a series against the San Diego Padres from April 22-25.
Overall, the Dodgers play 13 games at Dodger Stadium in April, compared to 14 on the road.
With L.A. County recently completing a stretch in the red tier of California’s Blueprint for a Safer Economy, the Dodgers were cleared to welcome 11,000 fans — or roughly 20% of Dodger Stadium’s capacity — per home game.
With the county now having reached the orange tier, which will allow for changes and more openings to take effect at 12:01 am on April 5, the Dodgers would be permitted to fill Dodger Stadium to 33% capacity. However, the team has not yet announced plans to do such.
Dodger Stadium policies, Dodgers protocols
Regardless of the tier and number of fans approved to attend games, all tickets will be issued digitally and scanned from mobile devices at Dodger Stadium entrances. Game tickets will be delivered via the MLB Ballpark app, ensuring touchless entry.
All fans will be seated in physically distanced pods of two, three, four, five or six seats.
The Dodgers encourage social distancing at all times when at the ballpark, with capacity limited in elevators, restrooms and indoor areas.
Hand sanitizing stations have been added and additional staff will be present for cleaning high-touch areas. All bathrooms have been modified to reduce capacity and will utilize touchless soap and towel dispensers.
Plexiglass dividers have also been added to information kiosks and other areas of interaction. Furthermore, all purchases inside Dodger Stadium will be contactless and cashless.
The Dodgers installed cash-to-card kiosks throughout the stadium to assist with the transition to cashless transactions. Cash-to-card kiosks will accept cash and add value to a Mastercard debit cash card.
Face coverings will be required for all fans ages 2 years old and above. Fans are permitted to pull down their face covering only when eating or drinking in their ticketed seats. Neck gaiters, bandanas and masks with valves are not considered appropriate face coverings.
Only clear bags will be permitted with a maximum size of 12”x12”x6” (the size of a one-gallon freezer bag). Bags, backpacks, coolers, large purses, etc., are no longer permitted at Dodger Stadium. The exception being bags carried for medical reasons or manufactured diaper bags that accompany infants and young children.
Dodger Stadium parking
Dodger Stadium parking lots now will only open 1.5 hours prior to the game and stadium gates will open one hour before first pitch. Parking must be purchased in advance.
Dodger Stadium and its surrounding parking lots are now smoke free, including prohibiting the use of electronic cigarettes and smokeless tobacco products on the property.
