Ahead of Wednesday’s series finale against the Philadelphia Phillies, the Los Angeles Dodgers recalled Walker Buehler and optioned Dylan Floro to Triple-A Oklahoma City.

Buehler is scheduled to start on Wednesday for the Dodgers after spending the last 10 days with Oklahoma City despite not appearing in a game. The rookie has only started once at the big league level since June 8 due to a microfracture in his ribs.

In that outing, Buehler gave up six hits and two runs in five innings while striking out five and walking one on July 13 against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.

Overall on the season, Buehler is 4-2 with a 3.45 ERA, 3.02 FIP and 1.08 WHIP in 11 starts (10 games). He has 59 strikeouts compared to 13 walks in 57.1 innings.

Buehler threw a simulated game with Oklahoma City last Friday, so he should take the mound without much of a pitch count against Philadelphia. The Dodgers will likely utilize a six-man rotation for the near future.

Floro, who was recently acquired from the Cincinnati Reds, tossed two shutout innings Tuesday night. He has given up four hits and three runs in 7.1 innings (3.68 ERA) with eight strikeouts and two walks since coming over to the Dodgers.

Los Angeles activated Pedro Baez and placed Zac Rosscup on the 10-day disabled list due to left middle finger inflammation.
