The Los Angeles Dodgers’ bats stayed quiet on Monday night as they saw their four-game winning streak snapped at the hands of the Colorado Rockies.

They look to get back on track on Tuesday, with right-hander Brock Stewart recalled from Triple-A Oklahoma City to make his first start of the season.

Stewart has made five starts this season for Oklahoma City, yielding a 2.08 ERA and 1.11 WHIP while striking out 22 and walking eight over 21.1 innings pitched.

Thus far he’s made three Major League relief appearances this season, giving up five hits and two runs in 5.2 innings (3.18 ERA). Stewart has five strikeouts compared to three walks during that span.

Stewart has not had any success in his previous outings against the Rockies. He’s faced them four times in his career, starting one of those games, and has posted a 15.63 ERA and 2.68 WHIP across 6.1 innings.

The Rockies counter with a righty of their own in Chad Bettis, who has been their best starter so far this season. Bettis enters 4-1 with a 3.27 ERA, 4.36 FIP and 1.20 WHIP in nine starts. He is not a strikeout pitcher though, only punching out 35 hitters compared to 19 walks in 55 innings.

Like Stewart against the Rockies, Bettis has struggled a bit against the Dodgers in his career. In 42.1 career innings against Los Angeles, Bettis has pitched to a 4.89 ERA and 1.58 WHIP.

Matt Kemp is the only current Dodger to homer off of him, going 4-for-15 (.267 batting average) with one home run. Justin Turner has worn out Bettis, collecting eight hits in 15 at-bats (.533 batting average).

Yasiel Puig returns to the Dodgers lineup after getting the night off on Monday. After going homerless in his first 28 games of the season, Puig has now gone deep in four of the last seven games he has played in, hitting .286/.400/.905 over that stretch.

While Max Muncy playing first base has become a bit of a regular occurrence of late, hitting in the leadoff spot is a new development.

Dodgers lineup:

1B: Max Muncy
3B: Justin Turner
C: Yasmani Grandal
LF: Matt Kemp
CF: Cody Bellinger
SS: Chris Taylor
RF: Yasiel Puig
2B: Logan Forsythe

Rockies lineup:

CF: Charlie Blackmon
LF: Gerardo Parra
3B: Nolan Arenado
SS: Trevor Story
RF: Carlos Gonzalez
1B: Ian Desmond
C: Chris Ianetta
2B: Daniel Castro
P: Chad Bettis
