Not much has been going right for the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2018, as they were defeated by the Arizona Diamondbacks 9-1 on Saturday night at Dodger Stadium to drop to 4-9 on the season. The loss was the 11th straight regular-season game suffered against Arizona, although the Dodgers did sweep them when it counted most in the National League Division Series last season.
The Dodgers have been without a key contributor in All-Star third baseman Justin Turner so far this season as he is on the disabled list after breaking his wrist after being hit by a pitch during Spring Training.
To make matters worse, Turner’s replacement at third base, Logan Forsythe, who moved over from second to third base, left Saturday night’s game with right shoulder discomfort.
After the game, Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said that Forsythe will undergo an MRI to see what is wrong with the shoulder, via Ken Gurnick of MLB.com:

Forsythe had been struggling both at the plate and in the field so far this season before going down with the injury. In 11 games going into play Saturday, he slashed .182/.234/.295 with a home run and four RBI. He has also made four errors in the field, with three of them coming in the same game.
Turner is just beginning to swing a bat, so it is unlikely that he will be back any time soon so the Dodgers could be without their top two options at third base for an extended period of time depending on what the MRI reveals.
