The 2018 Dodger Stadium Classic welcomes three top-15 ranked teams on March 11, beginning with a matchup that pits No. 7 Texas Christian University against No. 14 Vanderbilt University at 10:30 a.m. PT.
That will be followed by crosstown rivals UCLA Bruins (No. 11) and USC Trojans taking the field at 3 p.m. The UCLA-USC game will be televised live by the Pac-12 Network.
This year is the eighth time the Bruins and Trojans have played in the annual College Baseball Classic since its inception in 2010; the event was not held in 2014. UCLA has won four of the previous seven head-to-head meetings thus far.
The Trojans defeated the Bruins last year, 4-3, in 10 innings. In 2016, UCLA outlasted USC, 5-3, in 14 innings.
Vanderbilt is participating in the Dodger Stadium Classic for the third time, but are making their first appearance since 2015. They defeated Oklahoma State in 2010, and fell to TCU three years ago. The Horned Frogs are making their second appearance in the annual event.
Tickets for the doubleheader go on sale Thursday, Feb. 7, at 10 a.m. at Dodgers.com/Classic. Students of the participating schools and children under 14 can purchase tickets for only $5 (excluding dugout, baseline and Field MVP locations), which are available in advance only at the UCLA and USC box offices or at Dodger Stadium on the day of the event.
Parking is $10 and only available at the gate on the day of the Classic. Both auto and stadium gates will open at 10:15 a.m.
