The Los Angeles Dodgers put together a memorable 2017 season, headlined by winning a Los Angeles record 104 games and advancing to their first World Series since 1988.

All throughout the season and in the postseason, fans packed Dodger Stadium to cheer on their team, and the result was another year in which they led the league in attendance at 3,765,856. The Dodgers have led the league in attendance every year since 2013.

They once more were the first team to surpass 3 million in attendance. Throughout its history, countless photographs and video have been taken to document accomplishments, wins, or routine trips to Dodger Stadium.

The advent of social media has led to those photos being shared across Instagram, Twitter, and other properties. In 2015, Dodger Stadium was the fifth-most ‘Instagrammed’ place in the world.

This season, it ranked as the top geotagged sports venue on Instagram in the world, according to Front Office Sports:

The Dodgers rewarded their fans for their support by winning 57 games at home, which was the most in baseball. Additionally, they produced 10 walk-off wins during the regular season and countless other memorable moments leading up to the playoffs.

The postseason then brought some more great moments, including Justin Turner’s walk-off home run in Game 2 of the National League Championship Series, Chris Taylor’s leadoff home run in the bottom of the first inning in Game 1 of the World Series, among many others.

Los Angeles has now won the NL West a record five straight times, and are in a prime position to do it again in 2018 with the same nucleus of players returning, which should coincide with plenty more Instagram posts.
