The Los Angeles Dodgers have revamped their farm system under the Guggenheim regime and are regularly rated as having one of the best collections of Minor League talent. The latest accolades come from MLB Pipeline, which rated the Dodgers’ farm system the sixth-best in baseball.

Los Angeles was rated by the publication as having the No. 1 farm system prior to the 2016 season. The drop can easily be explained by the graduation of Corey Seager and Julio Urias, and the trade that sent Jose De Leon to the Tampa Bay Rays.

Jharel Cotton, Chase De Jong, Jose De Leon, Grant Holmes and Frankie Montas are also among those who have been dealt.

The Dodgers came in at No. 5 on ESPN Keith Law’s recent ranking of the top-10 farm systems.

Leading the way in the Minors for the Dodgers is Cody Bellinger. He’s considered the organization’s best prospect by MLB.com and Baseball America, and the top 2017 first base prospect by both publications.

Yadier Alvarez, Alex Verdugo, Willie Calhoun and Walker Buehler are also among those who have garnered national notoriety. Alvarez was rated the Dodgers top prospect by Baseball Prospectus.

Bellinger and Verdugo have both already impressed this spring, as they homered in the same inning of a Cactus League game to help the Dodgers earn a victory over the Milwaukee Brewers.

Newcomer Drew Jackson is the organization’s 20th best prospect, per MLB. He, along with right-handed pitching prospect Aneurys Zabala, were acquired from the Seattle Mariners in exchange for De Jong.
