After opening the 2016 season with a seven-game road trip, consisting of series with the San Diego Padres and San Francisco Giants, the Los Angeles Dodgers face the Arizona Diamondbacks on Tuesday, Opening Day at Dodger Stadium.
Kenta Maeda is scheduled to take the mound for his second start of the season, squaring off against Arizona Diamondbacks left-hander Patrick Corbin. First pitch is at 1:10 p.m. PT, with auto and stadium gates opening at 10:10 a.m.
Tuesday’s game is sold out and fans are encouraged to arrive well ahead of the scheduled start time. As was available last season, prepaid parking is available at a discounted price, with additional benefit being dedicated entry lanes to Dodger Stadium for those who purchased parking in advance.
Metro is offering express routes to and from Dodger Stadium: Union Station and South Bay. Using alternate means of transportation may be advised as the Dodgers and Los Angeles Police Department issued an Opening Day advisory.
Parking on Avenue of the Palms (Stadium Way) once again will not be permitted on Tuesday from 5:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. There will also be a zero tolerance policy for public drinking and the no-tailgating policy remains in place, per the LAPD:
