The Los Angeles Dodgers’ repeat title defense officially kicks off on Feb. 13 when pitchers and catchers report to Camelback Ranch for their first workout. The Dodgers’ first full-squad workout will take place just a few days later on Tuesday, Feb. 17.
However, several Dodgers players have voluntarily reported early to Arizona. This includes Shohei Ohtani, who decided to get a head start in preparation for his participation in the upcoming World Baseball Classic.
Pitchers and catchers across the league who are participating in the 2026 WBC will report to their respective team camps no later than Wednesday, Feb. 11. Position players participating in the tournament are due no later than Thursday, Feb. 12.
For the first time in two seasons, the Dodgers are not starting the season internationally, and this will not be on an accelerated Spring Training schedule.
L.A. begins its 2026 season at Dodger Stadium against the Detroit Tigers on March 26.
