2025 MLB Postseason: How To Watch Dodgers Wild Card Series Vs. Reds

The Los Angeles Dodgers won another National League West title and are in the playoffs for a 13th consecutive season, but they did not clinch a first-round bye and now host the Cincinnati Reds in the Wild Card Series.

It’s just the third time in franchise history that the Dodgers are involved in a Wild Card scenario, and the first since 2021 when they defeated the St. Louis Cardinals in the now-defunct single-elimination format.

The Reds are in the playoffs for the first time since 2020 after winning 83 games during the regular season under first-year manager Terry Francona.

They punched their ticket to October baseball as the third NL Wild Card team after the New York Mets squandered a big lead in the standings and fell to the Miami Marlins on the final day of the regular season.

The Dodgers and Reds are meeting in the postseason for just the second time, and first since the 1995 NL Division Series. Cincinnati swept L.A. in three games that year.

Dodgers Wild Card Series schedule 2025

Game 1: Tuesday, Sept. 30, 6:08 p.m. PT (ESPN)
Game 2: Wednesday, Oct. 1, 6:08 p.m. PT (ESPN)
Game 3*: Thursday, Oct. 2, 6:08 p.m. PT (ESPN)

The start time for a potential Game 3 will be changed to 4:38 p.m. PT if there is only one or two games on Thursday.

Dodgers Wild Card Series games on TV

All four Wild Card Series — two apiece in the NL and American League — are being televised on ESPN platforms. Every game is being played from Sept. 30-Oct. 1, and if necessary on Oct. 2.

Wild Card Series games will also be available to stream on the ESPN App. ESPN Radio will serve as the national audio home of the Wild Card Series and the entire MLB postseason. The MLB Wild Card Series is also available in Spanish on ESPN Deportes.

All three Dodgers Wild Card Series games will be televised by ESPN.

Jon Sciambi and Doug Glanville are going to be on the call for the Wild Card Series at Dodger Stadium, with Alden González serving as the on-field reporter.
