The 2025 MLB All-Star Game ballot was unveiled Wednesday morning and voting is now underway to determine the eight position players and designated hitters for both the American League and National League rosters.

MLB All-Star Game voting features two phases, with the first determining which players will advance to the next round before a starter at each position is determined in phase 2.

The top overall vote-getter in each league will automatically earn a starting spot and skip phase 2, while the rest of the finalists will battle it out in the second round. If an outfielder is a league’s top vote-getter, phase 2 voting at the position will still take place to determine the remaining two starters among the next four outfield finalists.

The leading vote-getters at every position and top six outfielders from each league will be revealed on MLB Network, beginning at 3 p.m. PT on June 26.

Phase 2 of MLB All-Star Game voting then begins at 9 a.m. PT on Monday, June 30. That will mark the start of a three-day window for fans to vote for their choices to start in the Midsummer Classic at Truist Field. The final phase of All-Star Game voting ends at 9 a.m. PT on Wednesday, July 2.

MLB All-Star Game starters will then be announced that night on ESPN, beginning at 4 p.m. Reserves and pitchers who help make up complete AL and NL rosters for the 2025 All-Star Game will be revealed at 2 p.m., on ESPN as well, on July 6.

Pitchers and reserves for both teams — totaling 23 for each — will be determined through a combination of “Player Ballot” choices and selections made by the commissioner’s office.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts is going to lead the NL All-Stars due to his team winning the pennant last season. New York Yankees manager Aaron Boone is at the helm of the AL team.

2025 MLB All-Star Game details

The Atlanta Braves are hosting the 2025 All-Star Game on Tuesday, July 15. Commissioner Rob Manfred awarded the All-Star Game to Atlanta on Nov. 17, 2023.

All-Star Week festivities at Truist Park are going to include the Futures Game the weekend before and Home Run Derby on Monday, July 14.

The Braves previously hosted the All-Star Game in 1972 at Atlanta Stadium, and again in 2000 at Turner Field. The Braves were awarded the 2021 All-Star Game as well but MLB moved it to Coors Field in response to concerns over a Georgia voting law disproportionately impacting minorities.

The Braves franchise has also hosted an All-Star Game in Boston in 1936, and in Milwaukee in 1955 before moving to Atlanta for the 1966 season.

How to vote Dodgers for 2024 MLB All-Star Game

Fans can vote here up to five times per day during phase 1, which concludes at 9 a.m. PT on Thursday, June 26.
