2025 Los Angeles Dodgers Spring Training Non-Roster Invitees: Roki Sasaki, Dalton Rushing & More

The Los Angeles Dodgers announced their group of non-roster invitees to 2025 Spring Training, which consists of 24 players and includes a blend of prospects, veterans and organizational depth.

The most notable Dodgers prospects invited to big league camp for Spring Training this year are Roki Sasaki, Dalton Rushing, Zhyhir Hope, Josue De Paula, Jackson Ferris and Alex Freeland.

Sasaki was just named to the No. 1 spot on Baseball America’s top 100 prosepcts list for 2025.

While much of the focus throughout the offseason has been on the Dodgers’ big spending, they also added a wide range of veterans on Minor League contracts, including former St. Louis Cardinals closer Giovanny Gallegos.

The Dodgers’ 40-man roster is currently full and there are more signings expected, which makes it unlikely for any non-roster invitee to earn a spot out of Spring Training, excluding Sasaki.

Because Sasaki was an international amateur signed to a Minor League contract upon being posted by the Chiba Lotte Marines, he is not yet on the Dodgers’ 40-man roster.

Dodgers Spring Training begins Feb. 11, when pitchers and catchers hold their first workout at Camelback Ranch. The Dodgers’ first full-squad workout is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 15.

Like last year, this spring comes with a slightly earlier start for the Dodgers due to opening the season in Japan with the Tokyo Series against the Chicago Cubs on March 18 and 19.

The Dodgers begin Cactus League play Thursday, Feb. 20, with a home matchup against the Cubs.
