2025 Dodgers Spring Training: Report Dates & First Full-Squad Workout

The start of 2025 Los Angeles Dodgers Spring Training is Tuesday, Feb. 11, when pitchers and catchers hold their first official workout at Camelback Ranch. The team’s first full-squad workout will take place on Saturday, Feb. 15.

That will give the team a handful of days to prepare before beginning a condensed schedule of Cactus League games.

Dodgers Photo Day is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 18.

While those are the dates for official workouts, players have historically reported to Camelback Ranch ahead of when they are formally expected in camp.

Just like last year, the Dodgers will be reporting to Spring Training a little earlier than usual due to opening the season in Japan with the Tokyo Series against the Chicago Cubs from March 18-19.

Dodgers Spring Training workouts at Camelback Ranch are open to the general public and free for fans to attend.

The Dodgers are looking to become the first team since the 1998-2000 New York Yankees to repeat as World Series champions.

They made several additions to their roster during the offseason, including Blake Snell, who joins a stacked rotation that will also include Yoshinobu Yamamoto, Tyler Glasnow and eventually Shohei Ohtani, among others.

Clayton Kershaw is also expected to re-sign with the Dodgers, who would remain the longest-tenured player in the organization at 18 seasons. Otherwise, that title currently belongs to Austin Barnes, who is entering his 11th season with the team.

2025 Dodgers Spring Training schedule

The 2025 Dodgers Spring Training schedule begins Thursday, Feb. 20, with a home game against the Cubs at Camelback Ranch.

Overall, the Dodgers play just 20 Cactus League games in a span of 21 days. Included in that stretch is a split-squad doubleheader with the Athletics and Chicago White Sox on March 2. The Dodgers’ only off day of Spring Training is March 3.

The Dodgers’ final Cactus League game is March 11, one week before Opening Day of the 2025 regular season. They conclude Spring Training with the exhibition Freeway Series against the Los Angeles Angels from March 23-25.

Stateside Opening Day of the 2025 season is March 27, when the Dodgers host the Detroit Tigers.
