The Los Angeles Dodgers selected University of Cincinnati outfielder Landyn Vidourek with their fourth and final pick during Day 1 of the 2025 MLB Draft. Vidourek was drafted by the Dodgers with the No. 104 overall pick, which was made in the third round.

Vidourek is a left-handed hitter who was a two-way star at Badin High School, also playing as his football team’s starting quarterback.

Vidourek played three years of baseball for Cincinnati, hitting .270/.409/.479 over his career. But his best season came during the 2024-2025 campaign as he batted .304/.434/.576 with 14 home runs, 47 RBI, 56 runs scored and 39 stolen bases.

The 21-year-old has played all three outfield spots, but the majority of his time has come in right field.

The No. 104 pick holds a slot value of $737,000. The Dodgers have a bonus pool of $9,031,300 for the 2025 Draft, which is 24th among all teams.

Bonus pools are calculated by adding the slot values of every pick through the first 10 rounds. Any signing bonus amount more than $125,000 for draft picks after the 10th round also count against the pool money.

Dodgers picks on first day of 2025 Draft

The Dodgers’ first pick at No. 40 overall was moved back 10 spots as a result of the team exceeding the second luxury tax threshold during the 2024 season.

They chose left-handed pitcher Zach Root and drafted his University of Arkansas teammate, outfielder Charles Davalan, with the 41st pick.

With their second round pick at No. 65 overall, the Dodgers selected Cam Leiter, a right-handed pitcher from Florida State University.
