The third day of the 2025 Dodgers Love L.A. Community Tour began at Dodger Stadium with Chris Taylor assisting in handing out Nuna baby strollers, carseats and more products to families expecting a child or who recently welcomed a baby, and have been impacted by the Southern California wildfires.
“Obviously this is a tough time for all of Los Angeles,” Taylor said. “I’m with you guys and I feel for you. I’m just happy to meet all of you. Congrats on your new journeys with your babies or expecting babies.
“I have a 1-year-old myself, so I’m kind of going through it. It’s the best. I love being a dad. We have some of the Nuna stuff, and it really is awesome.”
Along with helping distribute various Nuna products and diapers that were donated by Baby2Baby, Taylor also spent time to visit with multiple attendees.
“It was kind of just parent talk,” Taylor told DodgerBlue.com. “Kind of going through our experiences of having a child.”
This year’s Dodgers community tour has taken on a specific focus in giving back to those who have been directly impacted by the wildfires.
Previous stops earlier in the week included Landon Knack and more from the Dodgers visiting the East Valley Animal Shelter in Van Nuys to clean kennels, feed animals and take them outside for exercise in order to alleviate shelter staff that has faced heightened pressure and responsibilities since multiple communities were ravaged by the fires.
On Tuesday, Dodgers broadcasters José Mota and Luis Cruz accompanied roughly 100 members from the front office to sort and pack food and more at the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank.
On Jan. 17, Taylor was among multiple Dodgers players who were on hand to greet families and distribute merchandise during a wildfire relief event at Dodger Stadium that also was supported by Fanatics, Mamba and Mambacita Sports Foundation, and more.
Chris Taylor’s Polar Plunge
Taylor’s charitable efforts are continuing Sunday with the second annual CT3 Foundation Polar Plunge in Manhattan Beach.
A significant percentage of proceeds will support to local firefighters, and Manhattan Beach firefighters are going to be honored at the event.
