2023 NLDS: Dodger Stadium Info & First Pitch Details For Games 1 And 2

The Arizona Diamondbacks and Los Angeles Dodgers begin their 2023 National League Division Series matchup with Game 1 at Dodger Stadium on Saturday.

First pitch is scheduled for 6:27 p.m. PT, and the teams then will have an off day before returning to Chavez Ravine on Monday for Game 2, which has a 6:07 p.m. start time.

Clayton Kershaw is starting the first game against the Diamondbacks and is going to be followed in the rotation by Bobby Miller. The Dodgers have not announced a Game 3 starter, but Lance Lynn and Ryan Pepiot are candidates.

Keith Williams Jr. is singing the national anthem before the NLDS opener, and two F-35 jets from The Black Knights of Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 314 stationed at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar will perform a flyover.

The Dodgers also announced Eric Karros is going to be on hand to throw out the first pitch for Game 1. Karros shared the same honor with Steve Sax last year.

Meanwhile, Adrián González is throwing out the first pitch at Dodger Stadium for Game 2.

The postseason meeting is the second all-time for the Diamondbacks and Dodgers, with the first instance coming in the 2017 NLDS. The Dodgers are playing an NL West opponent in the Division Series for a second consecutive year and fourth instance in a row.

The Dodgers clinched the NL West for a 10th time in the past 11 seasons and secured the No. 2 seed behind the Atlanta Braves to earn a bye.

Arizona slipped to the No. 6 seed in the NL playoff bracket but upset the Milwaukee Brewers by sweeping the Wild Card Series.

The Dodgers went 8-5 against the Diamondbacks during the regular season.

When Dodger Stadium opens for NLDS

Fans are encouraged to arrive early throughout the postseason. Dodger Stadium auto gates open at 3:50 p.m. for Game 1 and 3:37 p.m. for Game 2.
