The Arizona Diamondbacks swept the Milwaukee Brewers to win the Wild Card Series and advanced for a matchup against the Los Angeles Dodgers in the National League Division Series, which begins Saturday at Dodger Stadium.

The Dodgers clinched a spot in the NLDS by earning the No. 2 seed in the league behind a 100-62 record during the regular season.

Despite having a first-round bye, the Dodgers kept busy this week with workouts and intrasquad games at Dodger Stadium. The team invited a select group of season-ticket holders to watch them on Wednesday.

It was a change from the Dodgers’ approach last year, when all NLDS workouts were closed off to the public. Manager Dave Roberts said some players suggested having fans in attendance to better help with the atmosphere during the five days off between the end of the regular season and start of the NLDS.

Game 1 of the NLDS is set for Saturday, and Game 2 also is at Dodger Stadium on Monday.

The NLDS shifts to Chase Field for Game 3 on Wednesday, October 11. If necessary, the Diamondbacks would also host Game 4 of the NLDS on October 12. If the teams are still tied through that point, the NLDS would return to Dodger Stadium for a winner-take-all Game 5 on Saturday, October 14.

The Dodgers went 8-5 against the Diamondbacks this season, including a 5-2 record at Dodger Stadium. L.A. held a 72-47 scoring edge in the 13 matchups.

Prior to this year, the only postseason history between the Diamondbacks and Dodgers came in the 2017 NLDS. The Dodgers swept the Diamondbacks en route to making the first of two consecutive appearances in the World Series.

Clayton Kershaw and Bobby Miller will start the first two games of the NLDS in that order. Who will take the mound in Game 3 remains to be seen due to the uncertainty surrounding Lance Lynn’s role.

All NLDS games are going to be exclusive nationals broadcasted on TBS.
