The 2023 MLB All-Star Game ballot was unveiled Wednesday, with voting for Phase 1 open until 9 a.m. PT on June 22. The Los Angeles Dodgers have nine players listed for possible representation in the 93rd Midsummer Classic that is being played at T-Mobile Park in Seattle.

During Phase 1 of MLB All-Star Game voting, fans may select one player for each infield position in both leagues, three outfielders and one designated hitter. A write-in space is also provided for players who are not listed on the All-Star Game ballot.

During the first phase of MLB All-Star Game voting there is a limit of five ballot submissions per single, valid email address during any 24-hour period.

The top six outfielders and top two vote-getters at all other positions for each league will be unveiled June 22 on MLB Network at 3 p.m. PT, and advance to the second phase of voting to determine 2023 MLB All-Star Game starters.

Like in previous years, the leading vote-getter in each league during the first phase will be named an automatic starter. If an outfielder is a league’s leading vote-getter, Phase 2 voting at the position will still take place to determine the remaining two starters among the next four outfield finalists.

Phase 2 of All-Star Game voting begins at 9 a.m. on Monday, June 26, and closes at 4 p.m. on June 29. ESPN will then unveil All-Star Game starters later that night.

The pitchers and reserves for National League and American League teams – totaling 23 for each side – will be determined through a combination of “Player Ballot” choices and selections made by the commissioner’s office. The entire 2023 MLB All-Star Game rosters will be announced on Sunday, July 2, at 2:30 p.m. on ESPN.

Dodgers on 2023 MLB All-Star Game ballot

The Dodgers represented on the initial 2023 All-Star Game ballot by Freddie Freeman, Miguel Vargas, Max Muncy, Chris Taylor, Will Smith, Mookie Betts, Jason Heyward, James Outman and J.D. Martinez.

The Dodgers were represented in 2022 MLB All-Star Game by Tyler Anderson, Betts, Freeman, Tony Gonsolin, Clayton Kershaw and Trea Turner. Kershaw had the distinct honor of his first career All-Star Game start coming at Dodger Stadium.

Philadelphia Phillies’ Rob Thomson is going to manage the 2023 NL All-Star team, while Houston Astros skipper Dusty Baker is again manager of the AL roster.

The AL team has won nine consecutive All-Star Games.
