All start times for the National League Division Series between the Los Angeles Dodgers and San Diego Padres in the evening, beginning Tuesday with Game 1 at 6:37 p.m. PT. The NLDS shifts to Petco Park for Game 3 on Friday.
The playoff game at Petco Park is the first with fans in attendance since 2006. The Padres hosted a best-of-three Wild Card Series in 2020, but played that in an empty stadium.
San Diego again needed to win a Wild Card Series in order to advance to the NLDS, but this year did so by taking two of three games from the New York Mets at Citi Field.
Fans looking to buy Padres tickets through the team’s official website are being met by a disclaimer that indicates sales are only open to “Verified Fans, Padres Insiders and the public will be limited to the following counties and areas:
“San Diego County, Baja California, Imperial County, Southern Orange County (San Clemente, Dana Point, Laguna Niguel, San Juan Capistrano, Laguna Beach), Southern Riverside County (Temecula, Murrieta, Lake Elsinore, Menifee, Hemet, Perris), La Paz County, Mohave County, Yuma County, and Clark County. Orders by residents outside (geo-limited areas) will be canceled without notice and refunds given.”
The Dodgers went 14-5 against the Padres this season and outscored them 109-47 en route to never losing any of the six head-to-head series.
All Padres-Dodgers NLDS games are being televised on FS1 and available to stream on the Fox Sports app. Adam Amin, AJ Pierzynski and reporter Tom Verducci are on the call.
