2022 MLB Postseason: Bracket, Daily Schedule, Start Times And TV Channels

The final day of the 2022 MLB regular season arrived without the potential for drama as every playoff seed had already been determined.

As part of the new collective bargaining agreement (CBA), the expanded postseason field now includes 12 teams, with the American League and National League having three Wild Card berths each.

The top two seeds in both leagues receive first-round byes, with the remaining teams facing off in the new best-of-three Wild Card Series. Each game will be played at the home of the higher seed, and winners will advance to the Division Series.

The Los Angeles Dodgers, behind a franchise-record 111 wins, were among the teams that earned a first-round bye. They will host the winner of the San Diego Padres and New York Mets matchup in Game 1 of the NLDS on Tuesday, Oct. 11.

The Division Series and League Championship Series will be carried by FOX, FS1 and TBS. The World Series will exclusively be broadcast on FOX.
