2022 Giveaways At Dodger Stadium: Mystery Dodgers World Series Rings

When the second half of the 2022 Los Angeles Dodgers giveaways schedule was announced, it included the addition of bobbleheads for Freddie Freeman (Aug. 10), Austin Barnes (Sept. 24) and Justin Turner (Oct. 4). Also announced was a mystery Dodgers World Series rings giveaway.

The first 35,000 fans in attendance on Tuesday night will receive a replica Dodgers World Series ring that are being distributed at random. The giveaway includes World Series won by the Brooklyn Dodgers, thus giving fans a chance to receive one of seven different designs.

World Series won in Dodgers franchise history came in 1955, 1959, 1963, 1965, 1981, 1988, and 2020. The various rings have long been on display at Dodger Stadium in an oversized fashion. The 2020 version resides in the renovated center field plaza area, where fans often stop for a photo opportunity.

Wednesday marks a third Dodgers World Series ring giveaway, as the team twice distributed replica models of their 2020 hardware last season.

The initial World Series ring giveaway date was Aug. 18, 2021, with the Pittsburgh Pirates in town. That drew a sellout crowd of 52,140. The Dodgers then held a 2020 World Series ring giveaway that September, for a matchup against the San Diego Padres, and that too was sold out.
