2022 Arizona Fall League: Andy Pages, Jorbit Vivas Among 7 Dodgers Prospects On Glendale Desert Dogs Roster

The Arizona Fall League returns for its 30th season on Oct. 3, and for the Los Angeles Dodgers, they had seven prospects named to the Glendale Desert Dogs roster.

This year’s group includes Hyun-il Choi, Tanner Dodson, Ben Harris, Emmet Sheehan, Jorbit Vivas, Andy Pages and Jose Ramos. Triple-A Oklahoma City lead athletic trainer Chelsea Willette is also part of the Dester Dogs coaching staff.

Choi, the Dodgers’ 2021 Branch Rickey Minor League Pitcher of the Year, has appeared in only two games this season between the organization’s Rookie-level affiliate and High-A Great Lakes, allowing three runs (two earned) on four hits over four innings pitched.

Dodson has pitched in 29 games between the Dodgers’ Rookie-level affiliate and Double-A Tulsa, going 4-0 with a 7.97 ERA and 2.29 WHIP across 35 innings.

Harris has appeared in 44 games between the Loons and Single-A Rancho Cucamonga, posting a 4-1 record, 3.72 ERA and 1.24 WHIP over 55.2 innings pitched.

Sheehan has pitched in 19 games (13 starts) between the Loons and Drillers, going 7-2 with a 3.05 ERA and 1.11 WHIP across 65 innings.

Vivas, the Dodgers’ No. 16 ranked prospect according to MLB Pipeline, is batting .269/.374/.401 with 19 doubles, seven triples, 10 home runs and 66 RBI in 128 games for the Loons.

Pages, the Dodgers’ No. 5 ranked prospect according to MLB Pipeline, is hitting .236/.339/.473 in 129 games for the Drillers.

Ramos is batting .249/.339/.479 with 22 doubles, six triples, 25 home runs and 97 RBI in 123 games between the Quakes and Loons.

Desert Dogs schedule, Fall Stars Game & AFL Championship

The Desert Dogs begin their 30-game schedule against the Peoria Javelinas on Oct. 3. The AFL Home Run Derby will take place Nov. 5 at Sloan Park, while the Fall Stars Game is scheduled the following day.

The play-in semifinal will take place on Nov. 11, and the AFL Championship Game will be played the following day.
