With Dodger Stadium returning to full capacity on June 15 in conjunction with the state of California reopening plan, the 2021 Los Angeles Dodgers promotional schedule and giveaways was announced.

It features 35 home dates with a giveaway or promotion, including 10 bobblehead dates. First up is a Justin Turner bobblehead on June 15, when the Dodgers host the Philadelphia Phillies in what will be the first time since 2019 a normal-sized crowd is able to fill Dodger Stadium.

Less than two weeks later, what was poised to be one of last season’s most coveted giveaways — a Max Muncy ‘go get it out of the ocean’ bobblehead — will be distributed June 29, fittingly for a game against the San Francisco Giants.

The quip came in an exchange with former Giants starter Madison Bumgarner, who in 2019 was not pleased with Muncy’s admiration for a home run that landed in McCovey Cove. Muncy hit another into the bay this year, tying him with Carlos Delgado and Adam LaRoche for the most home runs by an opposing player (three) to land in McCovey Cove.

Additional Dodgers promotions include a replica World Series ring giveaway (Aug. 18), a Mookie Betts jersey giveaway (June 16) and tribute to the 40th anniversary of the 1981 championship team on July 25.

Friday Night Fireworks, which will debut on June 11, and Kids Run the Bases (following most Sunday day games after June 15) will also return for the remainder of the season in addition to Viva Los Dodgers, which will be held in the center field plaza on June 27, July 25, Aug. 8, Aug. 29, Sept. 12 and Oct. 2 (La Gran Fiesta).

The Justin Turner bobblehead will be given to the first 25,000 ticketed fans in attendance while supplies last at guest’s point of entry. All other promotional giveaways will be for the first 40,000 (subject to change).

Schedule of Dodgers bobblehead giveaways

Although the Dodgers only unveiled designs for five bobbleheads, dates for all 10 that are giveaways have been set.

Justin Turner (June 15), Cody Bellinger (June 24), Max Muncy (June 29), Walker Buehler (July 19), Trevor Bauer (Aug. 19), Mookie Betts (Aug. 30), Corey Seager (Sept. 1), Tommy Lasorda (Sept. 13), Fernando Valenzuela (Sept. 15) and Julio Urias (Sept. 28)
