Plenty of recent success and an active offseason have made the Los Angeles Dodgers the clear betting favorites over the Atlanta Braves and the rest of the National League on the odds to win the 2020 NL Pennant at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com.

The Dodgers are listed as the +165 favorites on the NL Pennant odds at sports betting sites with Spring Training underway, a position they occupied on the betting futures even before they pulled off a blockbuster trade with the Boston Red Sox to acquire outfielder Mookie Betts and starting pitcher David Price.

Los Angeles had little trouble claiming the NL West title and advancing to the postseason last year, winning the division by 21 games over the Arizona Diamondbacks. However, the Dodgers were then upset by the Washington Nationals in the NL Division Series, putting an end to their run of two straight NL pennants.

That’s caused the Dodgers to double down on their efforts to finally win another World Series title this season, with the NL team most likely to stand in their way expected to be the Atlanta Braves according to oddsmakers.

The Braves are the +550 second favorite on the odds to win the NL Pennant, after they won the NL East title last season before getting knocked off in their NLDS matchup with the St. Louis Cardinals. St. Louis went on to face the Washington Nationals in the NL Championship Series, getting swept at the hands of the eventual World Series champions in that seven-game series.

Washington sits third at +750 on the latest 2020 NL Pennant odds, ahead of the Cardinals at +800, with the Philadelphia Phillies and the New York Mets next at +900 on those futures, and the Milwaukee Brewers at +1200. Milwaukee was the fifth team in the National League playoff picture last season, losing the Wild Card game to the Nationals.

Rounding out the top half of the NL Pennant odds are then the Chicago Cubs and Cincinnati Reds both at +1300, with the Diamondbacks at +2000, and the San Diego Padres at +2200. The Colorado Rockies (+6600), San Francisco Giants (+10000), Pittsburgh Pirates (+12500), and Miami Marlins (+50000) are the clear longshots on the 2020 NL Pennant futures.
