If the Atlanta Braves and Los Angeles Dodgers are to reach Game 4 of their National League Division Series, first pitch at SunTrust Park has officially been set for Monday, Oct. 8, at 1:30 p.m. PT.
Should the NLDS go to a Game 5, first pitch is 5:07 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 10. Friday’s Game 2 remains scheduled for a 6:37 p.m. start time. All remaining NLDS games will be televised live on FS1.
After dropping the series opener at Dodger Stadium, the Braves need at least a Game 4 if they hope to eliminate the Dodgers and reach the NL Championship Series. Atlanta and Los Angeles have split their only other two postseason series, with the Dodgers memorably winning the 2013 NLDS.
Game 2 features a pitching matchup of Anibal Sanchez and Clayton Kershaw. Walker Buehler is slated to start Sunday when the NLDS shifts to SunTrust Park, while the Braves have yet to formally announce a Game 3 starter.
Should the series extend beyond that point, the Dodgers presumably would start Rich Hill in Game 4, and have Game 1 starter Hyun-Jin Ryu or Kershaw as options if a winner-take-all Game 5 is played at Dodger Stadium next week.
