2017 NLCS: Dodgers-Cubs Officially Set For Later Start Time In Game 4 At Wrigley Field

First pitch for Game 4 of the National League Championship Series between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Chicago Cubs is officially set for 6:01 p.m. PT at Wrigley Field on Wednesday, Oct. 18. The Dodgers currently hold a 2-0 lead in the series.

The start time was locked in by the New York Yankees defeating the Houston Astros in Game 3 to ensure the American League Championship Series will at least go five games. They will play Game 4 on Tuesday and Game 5 on Wednesday, with each beginning at 5:08 p.m. PT.

Had the Astros swept the ALCS, the start time for Game 4 between the Dodgers and Cubs would’ve been moved up to 5:08 p.m. As it stands, only a potential Game 6 of the NLCS does not have a firmly set start time.

If the ALCS is forced to a Game 7, that will be given a 5:08 p.m. start, with the Cubs and Dodgers squaring off at 1:08 p.m on Saturday. If the ALCS has concluded and only an NLCS game is to be played that day, Dodger Stadium will see a 5:08 p.m. start time.

All remaining NLCS games will be televised exclusively on TBS. Brian Anderson is handling play-by-play duties and he’s joined by analyst Ron Darling and reporter Sam Ryan. NLCS games are also available via Watch TBS Live, Sling TV and PlayStation Vue.
