The Los Angeles Dodgers and Washington Nationals will begin their National League Division Series matchup with a 2:38 p.m. PT start time for Game 1 on Friday. First pitch for Game 2 on Saturday is set for 1:08 p.m. PT. Both games will air nationally on Fox Sports 1.

The series will shift from Nationals Park to Dodger Stadium for Game 3 (Oct. 10), and if necessary, Game 4 (Oct. 11). If the series goes to a decided Game 5, that will be played at Nationals Park on Oct. 13. Start times beyond Games 1 and 2 have not been announced.

Clayton Kershaw is slated to take the mound for the Dodgers in the series opener, and he’s likely to be opposed by Max Scherzer. The right-hander led all NL pitchers in strikeouts (284), innings pitched (228.1), WHIP (0.97), wins, and was eighth in ERA (2.98).

Scherzer is considered among the favorites to win the 2016 NL Cy Young Award. Game 2 will see Rich Hill from the Dodgers and presumably Tanner Roark for the Nationals. Though it’s possible Gio Gonzalez may get the nod at home.

Washington is likely to be without Stephen Strasburg as he continues to recover from a strained flexor mass in his right elbow. What’s more, All-Star catcher Wilson Ramos suffered a torn ACL and is out for the entire postseason.

The Nationals finished the season 50-31 at home, while the Dodgers went 38-43 on the road.

Game 1: Friday, Oct. 7, 2:38 p.m. PT (Fox Sports 1)
Game 2: Saturday, Oct. 8, 1:08 p.m. PT (Fox Sports 1)
Game 3: Monday, Oct. 10 (Fox Sports 1 or MLB Network)
Game 4*: Tuesday, Oct. 11 (Fox Sports 1)
Game 5*: Thursday, Oct. 13 (Fox Sports 1)
