Which Games Dodgers Have Drone Show At Dodger Stadium During 2026 Season

3 Min Read

The Los Angeles Dodgers expanded on the entertainment provided at Dodger Stadium at the start of the 2023 season by introducing drone shows as part of their yearly promotional calendar.

Dodger Stadium drone shows are held on Friday nights and have effectively replaced the long-held fireworks heading into the weekend. However, the Dodgers still kept one planned Friday Night Fireworks Night at Dodger Stadium each season on July 4.

While drones are back to flying at Dodger Stadium, the team has only announced two dates thus far for 2026. That’s compared to nine drone shows that were scheduled last season, though one was canceled due to windy conditions.

Dates for Dodger Stadium drone shows in 2026

“I don’t know if any of you have ever seen a drone show with hundreds of drones working in sequence, doing all kinds of shapes and effects, it’s the coolest thing ever,” Dodgers president and CEO Stan Kasten said at the time of the announcement.

“I love fireworks, you love fireworks, but you will really come to love the drone shows.”

Drone light shows have grown in popularity not just because of the customization options, but also due to being better suited for the environment. There also is the added benefit at Dodger Stadium of more flexibility in the event a game runs late or goes into extra innings as they don’t violate the noise ordinance.

Dodgers drone shows typically have a set theme and have often paid tribute to franchise icons. Last year the Dodgers celebrated their 2024 World Series title, Sandy Koufax, and musical acts who have performed at Dodger Stadium, with respective drone shows.

In 2023, Kobe Bryant was recognized with a special drone light show on Lakers Night.

April 24 vs. Cubs

The first Dodgers drone show of 2026 came after the series opener against the Chicago Cubs, who arrived at Dodger Stadium in the midst of a nine-game winning streak.

July 3 vs. Padres

The middle of a four-game series with the San Diego Padres is going to be followed by a drone show. The Dodgers have not yet revealed what the theme is going to be.

At the time of publishing it is also the final Dodger Stadium drone show on the 2026 schedule.
