Major League Baseball and MLB Players, Inc. announced the top-20 most popular player jerseys by sales for the 2024 season, which was led by Los Angeles Dodgers All-Star Shohei Ohtani.

The rest of the top five consists of the Philadelphia Phillies’ Bryce Harper (No. 2), Aaron Judge of the New York Yankees, the Dodgers’ Mookie Betts and Francisco Lindor of the New York Mets.

The ranking of best-selling MLB jerseys for the 2024 season was determined by sales on MLBShop.com of Nike jerseys since Opening Day.

Ohtani and Betts are among four Dodgers players who cracked the top 20 in player jersey sales. Freddie Freeman (No. 18) and Clayton Kershaw (No. 19) also made the list.

The top 20 players represent six different countries and territories: Canada, Dominican Republic, Japan, Puerto Rico, United States and Venezuela.

Ohtani has been one of baseball’s most popular players for many years and that only heightened when he signed a record-breaking 10-year, $700 million contract with the Dodgers.

Ohtani enjoyed a historic first season with the Dodgers that saw him become the first player to reach the 50-50 club. He also set many franchise and MLB records along the way and should win numerous awards this offseason for his success.

Ohtani previously led MLB in jersey sales last season as a member of the Los Angeles Angels. After signing with the Dodgers, Ohtani broke Lionel Messi’s Fanatics record for sales in the first 48 hours of his jersey release.
