Shohei Ohtani 50/50 Season Display Case Added To Dodger Stadium

3 Min Read

The Los Angeles Dodgers announced a new display case of Shohei Ohtani having the first 50/50 season in MLB history is now available for fans to view.

Memorabilia included in the window case are the jersey Ohtani wore against the Miami Marlins on Sept. 19, 2024, the bat he used to hit his 50th home run of the season, lineup card, and base that was the 50th steal.

Ohtani’s 50/50 season display case is located on the club level at Dodger Stadium. Fans can view it by entering that level on the left-field side of the ballpark, and it’s been added to the stops on the Dodger Stadium tours that operate on a nearly-daily basis.

Dodger Stadium tours also provide fans with an opportunity to visit some of the most restricted and non-public areas, plus photo ops with World Series, MVP and Cy Young trophies, along with more game-used memorabilia.

Additional Ohtani celebrations planned in recognition of becoming the first 50-50 player in MLB history are bobblehead giveaways on May 15 and Aug. 27.

The Ohtani bobblehead giveaway planned for the Dodgers’ May 15 game against the A’s features the two-way star stealing a base. It’s presumed the Aug. 27 bobblehead night when the Dodgers play the Cincinnati Reds will be of Ohtani hitting a home run.

All Ohtani bobblehead giveaway dates for the 2025 season will see every fan with a valid ticket to the designated game receive one rather than be limited to the first 40,000 in attendance.

Shohei Ohtani’s 50/50 season

Ohtani reached the remarkable milestone with arguably the single greatest performance ever seen.

He went 6-for-6 with two doubles, three home runs, 10 RBI and two stolen bases. In the process, Ohtani broke the single-season Dodgers home run record, which previously belonged to Shawn Green hitting 49 in 2001.

Ohtani’s 10 RBI also set a Dodgers franchise record for most in a single game, and he became the first leadoff hitter to ever drive in that many runs.

Moreover, Ohtani became the first player in MLB history with three home runs and two stolen bases in the same game.
