The Los Angeles Dodgers added a Kiké Hernández bobblehead to their schedule of giveaways for a third consecutive season. It’s presumed the reason for a Hernández giveaway getting added after the fact is due to his re-signing with the Dodgers late in the offseason.
Last year’s bobblehead featured the fan-favorite swinging the bat with a big smile and wearing yellow cleats to go along with the home Dodgers uniform.
The Kiké Hernández pitching bobblehead is scheduled for Sunday, July 12, which is the series finale against the Arizona Diamondbacks. As it currently stands, there are 15 Dodgers bobbleheads still left to be given away this season, including a Teoscar Hernández tossing sunflower seeds version on Saturday.

The 2026 Kiké Hernández bobblehead depicts him wearing a pitching helmet that became part of his look on the mound during the 2025 season. Hernández took over the helmet after it was presented as an option to Bobby Miller in response to getting hit in the head by a comebacker during Spring Training.
Hernández became so enamored with the pitching helmet he decided against allowing the Baseball Hall of Fame to take it for display.
Unfortunately for Hernández, there is a high probability he will not be on the roster when his bobblehead giveaway arrives. He suffered a significant left oblique strain that some within the Dodgers believe will require a recovery period of up to eight weeks.
Hernández tweaked his oblique while taking batting practice before his first game off the 60-day injured list and further injured himself the following night.

Hernández first pitched for the Dodgers during the 2018 season, when he appeared in one game that resulted in surrendering a walk-off home run against the Philadelphia Phillies. He then appeared in four games during the 2024 season and pitched in a career-high five games last year.
Last season saw Hernández make MLB history by becoming the first player in the modern era (since 1901) to score at least two runs, play multiple positions and throw a scoreless inning in the same game despite not starting.
Hernández achieved the feat by going 1-for-2 with one walk and two runs scored, and one inning pitched in a 15-2 blowout win over the Miami Marlins.
