Bobby Miller, Tony Gonsolin & More Dodgers Attend Rams Playoff Game Against Vikings

3 Min Read

The Los Angeles Dodgers showed their support for the Los Angeles Rams on Monday night with seven players in attendance for the playoff matchup with the Minnesota Vikings.

Making the trip to the game were Gavin Stone, Emmet Sheehan, Bobby Miller, Brusdar Garterol, Austin Barnes, Tony Gonsolin and Alex Vesia.

Although the Rams were the home team, the game was played at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, AZ. due to the continuing wildfires affecting L.A.

All the Dodgers players in attendance also worse a special Rams-themed Los Angeles Fire Department hat as they honor the people working to protect the city and save lives.

Dodgers players have been busy this offseason attending other sporting events. Anthony Banda, Landon Knack and Joe Kelly previously went to a Rams game with the World Series trophy.

The pregame festivities were filled with plenty of photo ops for the Dodgers’ trio at SoFi Stadium as they celebrated the World Series championship with Rams fans.

In addition, Jack Flaherty and Dave Roberts made it to a Los Angeles Chargers game, also bringing the World Series trophy with them.

Part of Roberts’ pregame duties at the Chargers’ game included rallying the crowd before the player captains met at midfield for the coin toss.

Later in the offseason, Will Smith and Knack made the trip to Crypto.com Arena with the trophy to represent the Dodgers at the Los Angeles Kings game.

Rams beat Vikings

The Wild Card matchup between the Rams and Vikings turned out to be a blowout with L.A. upsetting Minnesota 27-9.

Matthew Stafford threw two touchdowns, one to Kyren Williams and another to Davis Allen while Williams also added 76 yards on the ground.

It was the Rams defense that made the biggest impact, however, as they sacked Sam Darnold nine times, picked him off once and scored a touchdown on a fumble recovery.

The Rams now advance to play the Philadelphia Eagles in the Divisional Round.
