Dodgers Giveaways For 2025: Kobe Bryant Bobblehead Unveiled

3 Min Read

When the 2025 Los Angeles Dodgers giveaways schedule was unveiled, it included 21 planned bobblehead games at Dodger Stadium, with Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant among those in the group.

It represented a first, though the Dodgers have previously hosted a Lakers Night and also honored Bryant with a co-branded jersey that took inspiration from his Black Mamba persona. Last season it went from previously only being available as part of a special ticket pack to a stadium-wide giveaway.

The design of the Bryant bobblehead giveaway had not been revealed until Thursday, when the Dodgers shared an official look.

The bobblehead features the five-time NBA champion dressed in a gold Lakers uniform, wearing No. 24, but holding a bat. Notably, Bryant is standing in a batter’s box as a left-handed hitter despite being a right-handed shooter. The design appears to be inspired from a photo of Bryant from Lakers Media Day in 2009.

The Bryant bobblehead also is outfitted in shoes that resemble the Nike Zoom Kobe 6 protro Dodgers version that released earlier this year and quickly sold out. It was accompanied by a baseball-inspired capsule that featured a jersey, batting gloves and catcher’s gear, among other items.

When is Kobe Bryant bobblehead night at Dodger Stadium?

The Kobe Bryant bobblehead giveaway at Dodger Stadium is scheduled for Friday, Aug. 8, when the Dodgers host the Toronto Blue Jays. The first 40,000 ticketed fans in attendance will receive one, while supplies last at their point of entry.

After the Bryant giveaway, there will be just seven bobbleheads remaining on the Dodgers’ promotional calendar for the 2025 season. Included in that is the recently-added Clayton Kershaw bobblehead to celebrate his reaching 3,000 career strikeouts.
