In the midst of a season-best five-game winning streak, the Los Angeles Dodgers now begin a home-and-home series against the Seattle Mariners. It starts at Dodger Stadium, then picks up in Seattle on Wednesday for two games.

While the Dodgers have the clear advantage on paper, they are a mere 6-5 at home this season. That’s on par with results across the league, as home teams have a .505 winning percentage.

Monday’s series opener is notable in that it marks the first time Corey Seager gets an opportunity to play against his brother, Kyle Seager. They are the 15th set of brothers to play against one another after each has been an All-Star.

Kyle leads the Mariners with seven doubles and 19 RBI this season. He and Seattle will look to find success against Ross Stripling, who is coming off his first loss of the year.

Corey struggled a bit upon returning from lower back discomfort but did hit a three-run home run in the Dodgers’ win on Sunday.

Stripling didn’t feel he was sharp in a second consecutive start against the Padres, and he also was hurt by multiple errors. Overall on the season he’s 3-1 with a 3.97 ERA in four starts.

Stripling is opposed by rookie Justin Dunn, fresh off the first win of his career. Dunn held the Texas Rangers to just two runs on seven hits across six innings in what was his longest start of the season. Dunn is 1-1 with a 4.85 ERA.

Mookie Betts remains the Dodgers’ leadoff hitter, again with a right-hander on the mound. However, Betts is getting off his feet a bit as he is the designated hitter.
