The Los Angeles Dodgers are set to be represented and recognized by the Los Angeles Kings during their annual celebration to pay homage to the MLB franchise on Jan. 4, when they square off against the Tampa Bay Lightning.

All fans in attendance will receive a special sock giveaway, and those who purchase a separate ticket package will receive an exclusive Dodgers and Kings co-branded bobblehead. Kings left winger and Thousand Oaks native Trevor Moore is featured in the crossover bobblehead.

Moore grew up as both a Dodgers fan and Kings fan, and with his gritty style of play, he’s been embraced by his city as one of the stars of the franchise.

Tickets packs currently range from $77 for the 300 level at Crypto.com Arena, with a top-end price of $233 for center ice on the 100 level. For standard admission tickets, prices are ranging from $51 for the 300 level, with $383 being the most expensive option for 100 level and private box seats.

Tickets are available for purchase through the Kings’ website.

Last year, Dodgers star Mookie Betts was in attendance for the ceremonial puck drop, joining a long list of those who’ve had that unique honor. In recent years Tony Gonsolin, Jaime Jarrín, Chase Utley, Steve Yeager, Bill Russell, and Kiké Hernandez, all have had the opportunity.

Puck drop for Dodgers Night is slated for 6 p.m. PT.

The matchup between the Kings and Lightning should be a fun contest with the Kings being in good position in their respective division. Tampa Bay is battling for position in the Atlantic Division in the Eastern Conference.

Los Angeles Kings 2024-2025 season

Led by 18-year veteran Anze Kopitar, the Kings are near the top of the Pacific Division in the Western Conference. Right winger Adrian Kempe is second on the team in points, making for a strong one-two punch.

The Kings hold a record of 21-10-5 as of Dec. 31, 2024, putting them second in the Pacific with 47 points. They trail the Vegas Golden Knights by six points.

L.A. has played their best hockey at home with a 12-2-1 record.
