2026 Dodgers Love L.A. Community Tour: Blake Snell & Landon Knack Visit Aquarium Of The Pacific

The Los Angeles Dodgers are holding their annual community tour this week, which culminates with DodgerFest on Saturday as the unofficial kickoff to the new season.

Thursday’s stops for the 2026 Dodgers Love L.A. Community Tour began with Blake Snell and Landon Knack accompanying students from 75th St. Elementary school for an educational field trip to the Aquarium of the Pacific.

The Dodgers presented the local non-profit with a $10,000 check as part of their visit.

After students were walked through a seminar about various sharks, they broke into groups to explore the aquarium’s exhibits. One of them went with Snell to pet sharks, though it was another animal who resonated with the left-hander.

“Parker,” Snell answered when asked what his favorite animal was, “a sea lion. Were you over there? Go see the sea lions. Parker had a good personality. He was kind of showing off, swimming, barking. It was cool.”

Snell is entering his second season with the Dodgers and also participated in their weekly community initiative last year.

“It’s amazing,” he said of the Dodgers’ efforts. “Hanging out with the kids and seeing how excited they are to be here at the aquarium was really fun. To just joke with them and laugh, it was a good time.”

Knack’s experience began in the lorikeets forest, where visitors are instructed to not attempt petting the birds and instead allow them to land at their discretion.

“I’m a huge fan of aquariums,” Knack revealed. “When we’re on the road and stuff, me and my fiancée will go find aquariums at different places. We were definitely going to have a good time with this one.

“Feeding birds is not what I was expecting to do to start it, but it was a lot cooler than I thought it would be. Had a lot of fun with that, actually, and then kind of getting to see the rest, it was great.”

On Friday the Dodgers are going to participate in a pep rally at a local high school, visit a training center next to Dodger Stadium, and Brusdar Graterol and Snell are going to surprise customers at a Jack in the Box location.
