Gold Glove Bar Renamed Under New Partnership Between Dodgers And Kalshi

3 Min Read

The Los Angeles Dodgers announced a new partnership with Kalshi, the controversial prediction market platform that also has agreements with the likes of the Atlanta Braves and Boston Red Sox, among other teams. Back in March, MLB named Polymarket the league’s official prediction market exchange.

The multi-year deal makes Kalshi the official and exclusive prediction market partner of the Dodgers. The collaboration will see Kalshi-branded LED signage displayed around Dodger Stadium and fans will have access to Dodgers-specific offers in the company’s app and exclusive on-site activations in the center field plaza.

“The Dodgers are always looking for innovative ways to connect with our fans, and Kalshi represents an exciting new category,” Dodgers senior vice president of global partnerships Lorenzo Sciarrino said in a statement. “We’re thrilled to begin this partnership and look forward to introducing new experiences that bring our fans even closer to the game.”

Dodger Stadium bar renamed

Also under the new partnership between Kalshi and the Dodgers comes naming rights for the popular Gold Glove Bar that sits underneath the pavilion in left field.

The Gold Glove Bar was renamed to the Kalshi 435 Club, tying in a reference for how far a home run ball would need to travel in order to land at the front door of the club.

Debuting in 2021 as the Gold Glove Bar, the area was a new addition as part of the reported $100 million Dodger Stadium renovation project. The bar is outfitted with large TV screens, an 82-inch LED display, Gold Glove Awards that have been won by players in Dodgers franchise history, and neon sign that pays tribute to the franchise and Southern California.

But easily the most unique and exciting aspect of the bar, now known as Kalshi 435 Club, is the viewing area into the Dodgers’ bullpen. It allows fans an opportunity to get an up-close look to pitchers as they warm up to enter the game.

Capacity for the Kalshi 435 Club is 150 seated and 250 for a reception setting. The space can be rented for private events, such as company meetings, conferences, cocktail receptions and holiday parties.

Dodger Stadium bars still in place and unchanged are the private speakeasy in the right field pavilion, and locations sitting behind both outfields.
