The Los Angeles Dodgers began their road trip at PNC Park on Friday night with multiple streaks in tow. Most notably was their six-game winning streak that featured come-from-behind and walk-off victories.

Their latest was courtesy of an electric play by Yasiel Puig, who turned a base hit to center field into a walk-off Little League home run. As for traditional home runs, the Dodgers entered play on Friday in the midst of a stretch of 13 consecutive games with a home run, which ranked second in the Majors this season behind the Washington Nationals.

Los Angeles faced a Pittsburgh Pirates that had dropped eight of their 10 last games. However, it was the Pirates who struck first, jumping out to a 4-0 lead in the second inning.

Both clubs went back-and-forth from that point forward and with one out in the sixth, Puig extended the Dodgers’ streak of games with a home run by clubbing a towering solo shot to left field:

The homer was Puig’s sixth of the season and his second hit on the night. He’s now 5-for-11 in three games since being activated from the disabled list this week. Puig started in the eight-hole for the fourth time in his career, all of which have come this season.
