After Korean pop star Yoongi, who goes by “Suga” when with his band BTS, was in the building to watch countryman Hyun-Jin Ryu throw a complete game shutout last week, K-Pop stars NCT 127 arrived at Dodger Stadium on Wednesday to have some fun of their own.

NCT 127 took part in some pregame festivities, including a meet-and-greet with a lucky fan who won a social media contest the Dodgers ran. Then, they headed out to the field for a ceremonial first pitch.

From there it was out to the field, which drew loud cheers from fans in attendance. Members of NCT 127 were also interviewed, which revealed one of the group’s favorite spots is In-N-Out.

Four of them were then selected to throw out the ceremonial first pitch. A couple were off target, but the experience was enjoyable nonetheless.

Unfortunately for NCT 127, Ryu was not on the mound for the Dodgers. However, the band was still treated to a shutout, thanks to a great performance from Kenta Maeda followed by Scott Alexander, Pedro Baez and Kenley Jansen.

The Dodgers’ 2-0 win gave them a sweep of the two-game series against the San Diego Padres and a 7-2 record over the nine-game homestand.

Broken down even further, the Dodgers are 2-0 when hosting K-Pop stars.
