The Los Angeles Dodgers signed 18 of their 21 selections in the 2025 MLB Draft ahead of the July 28 deadline, including their first three picks, left-handed pitcher Zach Root, outfielder Charles Davalan and right-hander Cam Leiter.
The only players the Dodgers did not reach an agreement with were sixth-round pick Mason Ligenza, 18th-rounder Finn Edwards and 20th-round pick Shane Brinham.
While that represents an impressive haul of prospects, the Dodgers and the other 29 MLB teams can continue to add players who went undrafted.
According to Jim Callis of MLB.com, the Dodgers reportedly gave Tommy Case a signing bonus of $422,500, which is the largest for any non-drafted player this year:

During his senior year at Shaker High School in Latham, N.Y., Case went 6-1 with a minuscule 0.57 ERA and 72 strikeouts over 37 innings pitched. He also competed in the MLB Draft League with the Trenton Thunder.
Case had committed to playing collegiately for St. John’s University, but opted to start his professional career with the Dodgers instead.
Undrafted signings are treated the same as players selected after the 10th round. Any bonus amount over $150,000 counts toward a team’s bonus pool. Thus, only $272,500 of Case’s signing bonus will factor into the Dodgers’ space.
L.A. began with a bonus pool of $9,031,300 for the 2025 MLB Draft, which ranked 24th among all teams.
Dodgers draft pick Sam Horn still playing at Missouri
The Dodgers were able to secure a late commitment from 17th-round draft pick Sam Horn by offering him a signing bonus of $497,500, which was made possible by signing several other selections to below-slot deals.
L.A. also sweetened the pot by allowing Horn to play quarterback for the Missouri Tigers this fall.
