Dodger Stadium Food: Habit Burger & Grill Added To Center Field Plaza

3 Min Read

The Los Angeles Dodgers announced a multi-year agreement with Habit to bring a concession stand to the center field plaza at Dodger Stadium along with digital signage and promotional considerations.

“We are excited to welcome Habit in the Dodgers’ family of food partners,” Dodgers executive vice president and chief marketing officer Lon Rosen said in a statement. “This exemplifies the excellence and enjoyment that fans have come to savor at Dodger Stadium, and we expect it will quickly become a popular destination in the Centerfield Plaza.”

Habit was founded in Santa Barbara in 1969, and features an award-winning menu that blends variety with freshly chargrilled burgers, chicken and tuna, to go along with salad offerings and and handspun shakes. Habit’s menu also includes tempura green beans and sweet potato.

Food items are cooked-to-order over an open flame.

USA Today ranked Habit the No. 1 burger in American in both 2024 and 2025. Habit, which is owned by Yum Brands Inc., is Orange County’s seventh-largest restaurant chain.

“Congratulations to the Dodgers on their exciting win! Habit and the Dodgers have a lot in common – back-to-back No. 1 wins, feel-good family vibes and an uncompromising commitment to greatness,” Habit CEO Shannon Hennessy said.

“We’re thrilled to bring our fresh, award-winning food to the legendary Dodger Stadium. Go Dodgers!”

Announcing the addition of a Habit location comes well before new Dodger Stadium food items are unveiled at the start of each season, and throughout the Dodgers’ playoff run.

Is Habit replacing Shake Shack at Dodger Stadium?

A Dodgers spokesperson declined comment when contacted by DodgerBlue.com and asked if the new Habit location inside Dodger Stadium was a replacement to Shake Shack.

Shake Shack opened in the center field plaza during the 2021 season as part of the Dodger Stadium renovations.
