After a busy week for the Los Angeles Dodgers culminates with DodgerFest at Dodger Stadium on Saturday, Chris Taylor and his wife Mary are going to welcome teammates to Manhattan Beach for the first “CT3 Foundation 2024 Charity Polar Plunge” on February 4.

The Taylors still plan to hold the event despite a severe weather storm that’s impacting Southern California. It’s expected to break Saturday — a fortunate development for DodgerFest — before more rainfall arrives Sunday morning.

Tents are going to be set up at Manhattan Beach, where vendors will be selling food and coffee. Should the tide be deemed unsafe, the CT3 Foundation Charity Polar Plunge will need to be rescheduled.

Mario López is going to emcee the event, which is expected to include multiple Dodgers players, celebrities and other special guests in attendance to dive into the cold waters of Manhattan Beach.

Freddie Freeman, Mookie Betts, Jason Heyward, Will Smith, Max Muncy, Brusdar Graterol and others are expected to attend.

Chris Taylor recently issued a friendly challenge for his Dodgers teammates by allowing for fans to donate to a specific player to see him plunge into the ocean water.

Taylor remains in the lead with the most money raised, and behind him are J.P. Feyereisen, Smith, James Outman and Alex Vesia to round out the top five.

Gavin Lux, Betts, Freeman and Heyward are among the Dodgers who have also received financial support from fans.

CT3 Foundation Charity Game Night

On Thursday, the CT3 Foundation hosted a charity game night at New Realm Brewing Co. in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Attendees were treated to fun games and an opportunity to win autographed memorabilia.
