The Chicago Cubs officially unveiled the 2027 MLB All-Star Game logo just under one year from hosting the annual showcase and accompanying events at Wrigley Field.
The Cubs and city of Chicago overcame a variety of issues in order to be selected by MLB commissioner Rob Manfred in 2025 as a future host city.
“I applaud the Ricketts family, the entire Cubs organization, the City of Chicago and the Chicago Sports Commission for presenting an impressive vision for 2027 All-Star Week,” Manfred said in a statement at the time.

“The hard work put in to transform all of Wrigleyville into an outstanding destination deserves to be celebrated and shared on a national stage. Official 2027 All-Star Game logo details
The 2027 MLB All-Star Game logo is a tribute to Chicago and Wrigley Field standing as one of the most iconic ballparks in professional sports.
Centered around the legendary Wrigley Field marquee, the Cubs’ All-Star Game logo design celebrates a symbol recognized by fans around the world. The custom typography draws inspiration directly from the marquee’s distinctive letterforms, while the six-point Chicago star reinforces the city’s identity and civic pride.
Cubs blue anchors the palette, complemented by the club’s signature light blue to create a look that is unmistakably Chicago.
Chicago Cubs All-Star Game history
Including 2027, the Cubs will have hosted an All-Star Game four times in franchise history, all of which are coming at Wrigley Field.
The Cubs’ first All-Star Game was in 1947, and they additionally hosted in 1962 and 1990 as well. The 1962 exhibition was the second of two All-Star Games that were played that season.
Wrigley Field is poised to become the third ballpark in MLB history to host an All-Star Game four times, joining Municipal Stadium and old Yankee Stadium.
Overall, 2027 is going to mark an eighth MLB All-Star Game hosted by the city of Chicago. That’s one shy of tying New York for most by one city.
When is the 2027 MLB All-Star Game?
The 2027 All-Star Game is going to be played Tuesday, July 13, and air exclusively on Fox. The Home Run Derby is scheduled to take place on July 12.
