Along with Shohei Ohtani earning a starting spot as the designated hitter in the National League lineup for the 2026 MLB All-Star Game, the Los Angeles Dodgers had six additional players reach Phase 2 of voting.
That opened on Monday morning, which reset vote totals for all of the finalists who advanced into the second round. Freddie Freeman, Max Muncy and Andy Pages were at the top of their respective positions through initial voting.
Will Smith, Mookie Betts and Teoscar Hernández advanced as All-Star Game finalists as well.

Andy Pages & Teoscar Hernández, outfield
MLB’s voting update released on Tuesday brought about negative news for Pages, who no longer is in position to start this year’s All-Star Game at Citizens Bank Park.
Vote totals were not shared, but Pages is fourth among NL outfielders at 15%. Ahead of him are the Philadelphia Phillies’ Brandon Marsh (23%), New York Mets’ Juan Soto (19%) and Michael Harris II of the Atlanta Braves (16%).
Hernández has remained on the outside looking in, as he’s tied with Braves’ Ronald Acuña Jr. at 14%.
If Pages or Hernández finishes in the top three, it would give the Dodgers a fan-elected starting outfielder for the fifth time in the last eight All-Star Games (Matt Kemp, 2018; Cody Bellinger, 2019; Betts, 2022-23).
Additionally, the Dodgers duo are trying to give the NL starting outfield teammates for a third consecutive year, following San Diego Padres’ Jurickson Profar and Fernando Tatis Jr. in 2024, and Chicago Cubs’ Pete Crow-Armstrong and Kyle Tucker in 2025.
Will Smith, catcher
An All-Star in each of the last three seasons, Smith has continued to trail Drake Baldwin of the Braves at each update. That remains the case thus far in Phase 2, as Smith has garnered just 39% of votes to Baldwin’s 61%.
Should Smith make a late run, he would become the first Dodgers catcher to be voted an All-Star starter since Hall of Famer Mike Piazza claimed four straight fan-elections from 1994-97.
Freddie Freeman, first base
Freeman remains in strong position for a 10th career All-Star Game selection and sixth fan-elected starting assignment as he has 59% of voting to the Braves’ Matt Olson’s 41%.
Freeman previously has won five of the last seven fan elections (2018-21, 2023, 2025). He already is one of only two Dodgers first basemen to win a fan election, along with Steve Garvey (1974-80).
Max Muncy, third base
Muncy remains ahead of Phillies’ Alec Bohm with 60% of votes to 40%.
Muncy, already a two-time All-Star (2019, 2021) is bidding to join Ron Cey (1974-75, 1977) as the only Dodgers third baseman to win a fan election.
Mookie Betts, shortstop
Betts has trailed Washington Nationals’ CJ Abrams throughout the voting process but has somewhat closed the distance. Abrams nevertheless appears primed to be voted the starter, having garnered 57% of balloting to Betts’ 43% in Phase 2.
If a comeback is achieved, Betts would join Bill Russell (1980) and Trea Turner (2022) as the only Dodgers shortstops to receive a fan election.
Phase 2 All-Star Game voting
Phase 2 of voting, which is available exclusively online via mobile devices at MLB.com/vote, all 30 club web sites, the MLB app and MLB Ballpark app, concludes at 9 a.m. PT on Thursday, July 2.
All of the 2026 MLB All-Star Game starters and full team rosters will be revealed on Saturday, July 4, at 4:30 p.m. on Fox.
