The Los Angeles Dodgers had their overall five-game winning streak and 10-game home winning streak snapped, but received help from the Colorado Rockies and remained five games back of the San Francisco Giants for first place in the National League West.

Los Angeles and the Baltimore Orioles now conclude their three-game Interleague series in a 12:10 p.m. PT start at Dodger Stadium. The early afternoon start is the first at home for the Dodgers this season.

The Dodgers are 5-6 in Interleague play and 7-2 in rubber matches this season. Wednesday’s contest gives Bud Norris his first look at his former club since he was released by Orioles last August.

He joined the Baltimore rotation in July 2013 and was part of the 96-win season in 2014 that was good for an American League East title.

Norris had a strong debut with the Dodgers, starting in place of Clayton Kershaw, and throwing six shutout innings with eight strikeouts against the Colorado Rockies.

Including time spent with the Atlanta Braves this season, he’s 4-7 with a 3.89 ERA, 3.67 FIP and 1.29 FIP. However, Norris is 3-1 with a 1.78 ERA while holding opponents to a .185 batting average in his last six starts.

Kevin Gausman looks to shake off some inconsistency in his first career start against the Dodgers. He enters the outing 1-6 with a 3.97 ERA, 4.31 FIP and 1.27 WHIP. Gausman is 0-5 with a 5.02 ERA in eight road starts this season.

Opponents have hit .303/.347/.503 with eight doubles and nine home runs off Gausman over that span (43 innings pitched). Corey Seager, who was one of three Dodgers named to the National League All-Star team, owns an 18-game hitting streak.

He’s batting .405 with nine doubles, two triples, two home runs and five RBIs during the stretch. Seager’s streak is the longest in the NL this season and longest active streak. It’s tied for the second-longest hitting streak by a rookie in Los Angeles franchise history.
