Limited Tickets Remain For USC Night At Dodger Stadium, Which Mark Prior Is Looking Forward To

Along with a robust 2018 promotional and giveaway schedule, the Los Angeles Dodgers also have a slew of home games that are themed and/or include a specialty ticket package. One such date is Monday, April 23, or USC Night at Dodger Stadium, when the Miami Marlins are in town.

Limited tickets remain available for the ticket pack, which includes a co-branded Dodgers-USC shirt. The three-quarter sleeve shirt can only be obtained by purchasing a ticket pack through Dodgers.com/USC.

USC Night will include pregame interviews from the field with current Rams and former USC football players Robert Woods and Nickel Robey-Coleman, and the USC Victory Bell will be available for photos in the right field plaza, along with the USC Song Girls.

USC student and singer-songwriter Celeste Butler will sing the national anthem, while USC alumna and Los Angeles District Attorney Jackie Lacey will have the honor of announcing “It’s time for Dodger baseball” prior to first pitch.

One of the more popular ticket packages, USC Night provides Dodgers bullpen coach and Trojan alumni Mark Prior with an opportunity to see his university recognized and celebrated. The proximity to USC served as an added bonus to Prior, who’s in his first year with the organization.

“One of the things that excited about the opportunity to come to the Dodgers, obviously they’ve had a winning tradition as an organization, but having a chance to come back to L.A. and hopefully get a chance to be around the university and baseball program a little bit more, that excites me,” Prior explained.

It also gives him an excuse to needle Dodgers manager and UCLA product Dave Roberts, and Chase Utley. The Trojans defeated the Bruins during this year’s Dodger Stadium Classic.

“It’s a fun rivalry because there’s a lot of overlap,” Prior said. “It’s a great and fun rivalry because it’s very, very competitive but it’s not as hostile as some of the other rivalries.

“I’m honored to be a Trojan for life.”
