ESPN announced a slate of broadcasts for the upcoming Memorial Day weekend and day after, with the contest between the Los Angeles Dodgers and St. Louis Cardinals taking the primetime slot of 4 p.m. PT on Tuesday, May 29, as part of a doubleheader on the network.

The broadcast will be blacked out in the Los Angeles market. All MLB games carried on ESPN are available to stream on WatchESPN and the ESPN app.

The game at Busch Stadium is part of a second series this season between the Dodgers and Cardinals. They first meet Tuesday, May 23, in the opener of a three-game set at Dodger Stadium. That coincides with the Cardinals beginning an six-game road trip.

Conversely, the matchup on the day after Memorial Day is the second of a seven-game road trip for Dodgers. That will come on the heels of a 10-game homestand. Los Angeles and St. Louis faced off six times last season, with the Dodgers taking two of three in each series.

The teams have became bitter postseason rivals in recent years, with the Cardinals eliminating the Dodgers from the playoffs in 2013 and 2014.

Entering Monday, the Dodgers are 17-14 and 2.5 games back of the Colorado Rockies for first place in the National League West. St. Louis opened the day at 16-14 and just one-half game behind Cincinnati Reds in the NL Central.

Both the Dodgers and Cardinals are in the midst of a three-game winning streak.
